New Look Women's Knitwear

Crisp air, gold crunchy leaves beneath your feet, cosy nights in, pumpkin spice everything… it’s safe to say there’s lots to love about the arrival of autumn. But, as fashion fans and certified members of the cosy club (blame our lockdown love affair with loungewear), getting to bring out the knitwear again easily tops the list.

Here to get you just as excited as us for the return of knitwear are our #NewLookers Near You, AKA a set of seriously stylish individuals keeping you updated on the latest at New Look, all while winning at the Insta game.

From dressing up in monochrome to channelling the Upper East Side, our #New Lookers have this season’s knitwear trends nailed. Consider your autumn attire sorted…

New Look's Georgia wearing a dogtooth polo jumper

1. @newlook_georgia

While we love a classic plaid check for autumn, dogtooth check is stealing the spotlight this season. Not only does it give us the chance to tap into the monochrome trend, but the statement print adds interest to even the simplest of get-ups. Georgia got the memo, teaming a dogtooth knit with leather-look shorts and biker boots for an autumn outfit that’s big on cool. Add a black cross-body and you’re ready for wherever the day takes you.

New Look's Shanuja wearing a burgundy ribbed knit midi dress

2. @newlook_shanuja

Nothing says autumn quite like berry tones – actually, nothing says autumn quite like dressing in head-to-toe berry tones. Look to Shanuja and take the tonal trend for a spin, pairing a burgundy knit midi dress with coordinating boots and accessories. Shanuja-inspired golden-hour photoshoot in said outfit also recommended.

New Look's Lauren wearing a mink cable knit crop jumper

3. @newlook_lauren.c

Neutrals never go out of style, as proven by #NewLooker Lauren, who sports a brown cable-knit (which she calls ‘soooo soft’, FYI) with a complementary shoulder bag. For her bottom half, Lauren keeps things simple, opting for blue light-wash mom jeans. It’s an effortless everyday look we’ll all be copying pronto.

New Look's Ella wearing a black ribbed knit button long sleeveless vest

4. @newlook_ella

With the new Gossip Girl reboot, it’s no surprise preppy dressing has been hot on the fashion radar this year. Make like Ella and give the trend an autumn update by layering a sweater vest over an oversized white shirt. Finish the look with chunky boots and a cute cross-body, then let your inner Upper East Sider shine. XOXO thanks for the inspo, Ella.

New Look's Jasmine wearing a camel knit high neck midi bodycon dress

5. @newlook_jasmine

While we often associate knitwear with not-so-flattering slouchy silhouettes, Jasmine proves that doesn’t have to be the case, heading out in a bodycon knitted midi from our Mahalia Loves edit. She contrasts the neutral piece with black stomping boots and a black 90s shoulder bag, creating the perfect desk-to-dinner-to-drinks-and-beyond look.

New Look's Candice wearing a camel roll neck jumper

6. @newlook_candice

On particularly chilly days, there’s no better saving grace than a cosy roll neck. Candice channels a Parisian vibe by teaming a neutral style with dark-blue skinnies and gold hoop earrings. We can so see ourselves copying this French-girl fit for our next breakfast date with the girls – where a croissant will be consumed as we pretend we live in the city of light.

New Look's Caroline and Olivia wearing a tie front dur trim cardigan in pink and black

7. @newlook_carolineandolivia

Our favourite duo has taken a page out of Bella Hadid’s book this autumn, making their knitwear of choice a 90s-inspired faux fur-trim cardigan. Caroline and Olivia embrace the 90s further, choosing wide-leg jeans and mini shoulder bags to complete their looks. If it’s model-approved outfits you’re after, this pair have you covered.

New Look's Chloe black heart long jumper

8. @newlook_chloe

Bold patterns are big this season, and we can’t help but fall in love with this heart-patterned ensemble from Chloe. She styles the best-selling longline jumper from our Emily Atack Loves edit with faux-croc boots for an edgy finish. Cool, cosy and on-trend, we can’t get enough of this monochrome moment.
